Trinity Mirror’s Digital portfolio attracted more than 91m unique users in September.
Monthly average browsers to Trinity Mirror’s national sites rose to 76.3m, a year-on-year leap of 145.2%. Daily average browsers to those sites hit 3.8m, an increase of 158.3% year-on-year.
Trinity Mirror’s regional network reached 21.9 million monthly unique users, the first time the company has published a number for its regional portfolio.
Simon Fox, Trinity Mirror’s chief executive said: “We are seeing continued and impressive year-on-year growth right across our network of news brands – as a group we now reach over 91 million monthly users.
“Our national sites enjoyed growth of 145% in September. This is down to the strength of our journalism and how we then publish this content across our platforms. Mobile and video are performing well and with social we are making real progress.
“And, for the first time we have published our total regional network number which shows we are attracting nearly 22 million monthly unique users, making us the clear number one in regional digital publishing.”
