Guest speakers have been announced for the Christmas gathering of UK Pressgang.
Ellis Watson is an accomplished and witty conference and after dinner speaker. He has held senior positions at companies such as Menzies, First Group, Syco and DC Thomson.Ellis talks about how organisational cultures evolve as a result of the quality and diversity of the individuals employed. He is a captivating and hugely entertaining speaker, who also gives an insight into what it was like to work for the idiosyncratic Mr Murdoch.
Paul Merson is a former professional footballer and manager, turned football television pundit. As a player he played a large majority of his career as a winger.He notably played in the Premier League for Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, as well as appearing in the Football League for Brentford and Portsmouth. He also played for Walsall where he spent two years as player-manager before finishing his career in Non-League football with Tamworth. Merson earned 21 caps for England, scoring three times.
The lunch takes place at London’s Little Ship Club on the banks of the River Thames on Friday 4 December.
