Christina Scott will join News UK as chief technology officer in the New Year.
She will be responsible for corporate IT, technoogy and digtal development teams.
Over the past 20 years she has also worked in technology at the BBC, ITV Digital and Accenture during a career of great distinction.
Christina was ranked third in the CIO 100 last year – an annual list recognising the most transformative CIOs in the UK business economy. She topped the media, leisure and entertainment category and was the only woman to be ranked in the top 20.
