Independent Press Standards Organisation launches

THE Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) launched this week with a re-launched website and a promise to be "rigorous, independent, fair and transparent", reports the Newspaper Society. The new press regulator will oversee editorial standards for the majority of national, regional, local and magazine publications.
